Produced in China in the 1980's to survey and document the different martial arts remaining. This is vintage footage preserved on VHS masters. This is not digital or HD picture quality. ''This DVD highlights a wide variety of the 192 styles that were categorized during the National Martial Arts Survey. Included are many popular styles such as Xingyi, Bagua, Yan Qing Quan, Fanzi (tumbling), Ba Ji, and Yong Chun (Wing Chun), along side some rare styles such as Tai Zu Quan, Tong Bi, Chuo Jiao, and many more! Demonstrations are by both the old, traditional masters and the young rising champions in solo forms, weapons and sparring.'' The video is narrated in english. The sound and picture quality are good. The styles are identified with on screen titles and the sound commentary matches the performance on screen. The commentary offers some great facts and details about the art's philosophy, approach and methods and special features. NO REFUNDS ON ANY DVD'S.
